The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) for the year 2024-25 in different branches of State Bank of India. There is 600 post for Probationary Officers (PO). This precious opportunity is open for all eligible Indian citizens aspiring to join SBI as Probationary Officers. The recruitment process will conduct within three phases: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Psychometric Test/ Interview/ Group Exercises. The SBI Bank PO Notification has been released on 26 December 2024 and the online applications are invited from 27 December to 16 January 2025. SBI PO 2024 Salary Structure:-

As per the notification, the starting basic pay of a Probationary Officer (PO) is Rs 48,480/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. The approximate CTC at initial scale of at Mumbai Centre is 18.67 Lacs.

Number of Attempts:-

The maximum number of chances is fixed for each category. Candidates who have used up all the chances are not eligible to apply. Appearing in the Preliminary Exam is not counted as an attempt but appearing in the Mains Exam is counted.

SBI PO Selection Process 2024:-

The selection process consists of three phases:

1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
   • Objective test for 100 marks with 3 sections (English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability).
   • Duration: 1 hour.
2. Phase-II: Main Examination
   • Objective test (200 marks) and Descriptive test (50 marks).
   • Subjects include Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Awareness/Economy/Banking Knowledge, and English Language.
3. Phase-III: Psychometric Test/Group Exercises/Interview
   • Psychometric test for personality profiling.
   • Group Exercises (20 marks) and Interview (30 marks).
4. Final Merit List
   • Aggregate marks from Main Examination and Phase-III normalized to 100 marks.
